Norfield Children's Center teachers believe in intentional teaching and purposeful play. Our directors and lead teachers hold degrees in education and fulfill requirements of the state for professional development.

Lead Teacher Four's Program

I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment that fosters curiosity through play-based learning. My vision is to make a positive impact on the lives of all the children and their families who attend Norfield Children's Center. I hold an MS degree in Early Childhood Education from Wheelock College Graduate School/Boston University. I grew up in Weston and attended Norfield Children's Center preschool as a child. Other than teaching, I have two children in College and enjoy spending summertime on the mid coast of Maine.

Afterschool Program Director

I have lived in Weston for 24 years and have enjoyed working at Norfield for the last 10 years. My favorite time of the day is when the kids get off the bus. I love the beach and board games.

Lead Teacher Three's Program

I have been teaching as a lead teacher at Norfield for more than 15 years. I have my Masters Degree in Education. I have a passion for teaching and love seeing the children grow and learn! In my free time I enjoying taking day trips, walking my dog, Kali, reading, and baking.

Teacher Four's Program

I recently retired from Chappaqua Central School District , NY after 33 years of teaching, and coaching. I have a Master Degree in physiology and a MS in Clinical Nutrition. Norfield is an amazing place and I am excited to continue my love for teaching and education working with young children! In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and all outdoor activities and sports.

Teacher Four's Program

I am excited to be teaching in the 4’s classroom, after subbing for a couple of years. It is such a joy to foster the growth of curious, young minds as well as see the wonder of the world on their adorable little faces. I have been living in Weston for the past 20 years with my husband & two children. I enjoy spending time with family & friends, walking and playing tennis, all the more in warm weather!

Teacher Three's Program

A Weston resident since 1996, I joined Norfield Children's Center in 2001 and have since very happily worked in the Three's program. I love to garden & cook. And I live for the weekends so I can spend time with my two granddaughters, Bella & Teeny, and my grandson, Anthony.

Lead Teacher Two's Program

I’ve lived in Weston since 1991. I have a BA in English and after a 10 year career, stayed home to raise our four children. I love serving as a volunteer coach, community and school board member, scout leader, as well as playing tennis, walking our dogs, and reading. As our children have grown, I am so grateful to teach the 2s and work in the after school program at Norfield.

Afterschool Teacher

I have lived in Norwalk since 2019 and joined Norfield in 2023 proudly working as part of the afterschool program. My biggest joy is being part of the developmental progression and growth of the children. I love spending time with my family and traveling around the globe.

Teacher Two's Program

Weston has been my family’s home for 25 years. My husband and I raised two sons here, both of whom graduated proudly from Norfield Children’s Center and are now in college! I have a B.A. in English Literature from Middlebury College and was a medical writer and publisher until I decided to leave my job, raise our children, and volunteer in the community. I loved being a Norfield sub last year and I am so happy to return this year as a Two’s teacher.
